As a Republican, Asm. Suzette Valladares voted YES on the third draft of AB1184 which included legislation for children as young as 12 years old to transition genders while on their parents healthcare plans, without parental notification or consent (AB1184).
Asm. Suzette Valladares was the only Republican to vote YES on the January 6th Committee Resolution in the State Assembly (AJR 22). As innocent people like our own LAGOP Vice-Chair Siaka Massaquoi are falsely charged and persecuted by the Democrats and the J6 Committee, Suzette Valladares’ votes have stood in solidarity with their accusers and against other innocent Americans. At the CAGOP State Party Convention in October of 2023, Suzette Valladares voted NO on Resolution 7, condemning the 2-Tiered System of Justice being used to persecute fellow Americans. Resolution 7 can be read here, and her NO vote is recorded here. While in the Assembly, she did not even vote on whether President Trump should remain in office (AR7)
Asm. Suzette Valladares voted Against Public Kindergarten with SB70. Her NO vote is recorded here and here. (On an unrelated note; she is the CEO of a Private Pre-K Day Care Center, giving her the ballot title “Small Business Owner”)
Asm. Suzette Valladares Voted NO to Prohibit New Oil Wells Near Schools and Hospitals (SB1137)
In her congressional campaign email to supporters on June 25th, “Live from our Southern Border” Suzette Valladares proclaimed illegal aliens should be granted citizenship after stating the southern border should have “new technology” and omits the building of a wall. Read her statement here.
Asm. Suzette Valladares Voted NO on Prohibiting the Transfer of Police Officers to Other Departments Following Misconduct Convictions (SB2). Additionally, she voted NO on defining “serious misconduct” to include dishonesty on reports, abuse of power, physical violence, and sexual assault to allow for an officer’s certification to be stripped (SB586).
Meanwhile Sacramento Democrats:
In 1978, California voters overwhelmingly approved Proposition 13, a property tax limitation initiative. This was the taxpayers’ collective response to dramatic increases in property taxes. Today, Californians pay the highest taxes in all other revenue sources and California Democrats want to increase property taxes by more than 2% with ACA 13. The negative effects of this legislation will be immediate and dramatic.
A wealth and death tax would expedite the exodus of high income earners from our state. Prop 19 increased taxes on property transferred from parent to child by utilizing the current market rate instead of the previous purchase price. Additionally, AB 259 is a pure wealth tax in an effort to tax individuals before they leave California. A complete analysis of this legislation can be read here.
SB 961 would require all vehicles be equipped with “smart devices that automatically limit the vehicle’s speed to 10 miles above the legal limit.” In addition to controlling how the vehicle itself drives, it would monitor where the driver is located and have the ability to report the vehicle’s speed.
Personal Response
I am revolted to my core by everything seen on this page. Every piece of governance listed here strips away the fundamental rights of Californians. I am Pro-Life, with exceptions for rape, incest, and the life of the mother. We can have ethical, medical, and reasonable safeguards on this procedure that prevent it from being misused. But more importantly, I firmly believe our state government needs to focus back on the basics instead of complex ideas for new taxation. We need schools that teach children how to read, law enforcement equipped with the tools to police successfully, and infrastructure that allows for parents to be home earlier with their children and less time in traffic. I want us to stop fighting each other and start working on these fundamental problems that are facing us everyday. This is why I am proudly endorsed by the American Independent Party and the California Republican Assembly. Please start volunteering with us today and make our state golden again!
